Modules add working sections for your team to your account: a booking calendar and a shared queue of customer questions. First connect a module for the business, then allow AI employees to use its actions.
This release includes services and specialists. Accommodation booking and table booking will be separate modules after the public release.
Where to find it
Open “Modules” in the top menu. The “Business modules” page has four cards: “Specialists and services”, “Support requests”, “Customers” and “Integrations”. The corner of each card shows the module's state: “Not connected”, “Connected” or “Paused”. The “Customers” module is covered in Customers and customer cards. The “Integrations” module is covered in Integrations and webhooks.
What each module gives you
“Specialists and services” — Services, specialists and their schedules. Book appointments and home visits in one calendar.
- a team calendar and free time slots;
- bookings, rescheduling and cancellations;
- the customer and the chat right next to the booking.
“Requests” — teamwork on customer questions:
- a shared queue of customer questions;
- handing a conversation over to a person;
- assignees, notes and notifications.
When “Specialists and services” is connected, a “Calendar” item appears in the top menu. While the module is not connected or is paused, this item is not in the menu. With the “Requests” module, the “Inbox” section opens on the “Requests” tab, and all chats stay on the “All conversations” tab.
“Integrations” — sends business events to your own systems by webhook and keeps the event log.
- Business events go to your own systems by webhook;
- A log of everything that happened, with CSV and JSON export;
- Receivers, signing secret and delivery history in one place.
The section has no item of its own in the top menu: click “Open integrations” on the card of the connected module. Delivery stops, and events missed while paused are not resent after resuming. Receivers stay configured and the event log keeps recording.
How to connect a module
- Open “Modules”.
- On the card of the module you need, click “Connect”.
- If the business has no AI employees yet, the card offers “Create your first AI employee?”. Click “Connect and create an AI employee” or “Connect without AI employee”.
- Look at the “Business data” block. If it has a “Need to add:” list, fill in that data.
- For bookings, click “Set up bookings” and add services, specialists and working hours.
Add a service, assign a specialist and confirm their hours to start taking appointments.
A new AI employee created together with the module gets access to its actions right away. Before it starts working with customers, choose a channel and response mode.
How to choose what to use
- On the card of a connected module, open “What to use”.
- Select the options you need:
- “Specialists and services”: “ Service appointments”, “ On-site services”;
- for support requests — “Conversations handled by a person or AI” and “Support requests”.
- Click “Save settings”.
At least one option must stay selected.
How to assign a module to an AI employee
A module is a shared section for the whole business. On its own, it does not allow an AI employee to book customers or create support requests. These actions are turned on for each employee separately.
- In the “AI employees” block of the card, click “Employee access”. If there are no employees yet, there will be a “Create an AI employee” button there.
- Select an employee and open the “Access” tab.
- In the “Modules and Actions” section, select the actions you need.
- Click “Apply”.
The “AI employees” block on the module card tells you how many employees already work with the module and what is left to do, for example connect a channel.
The “Configure with assistant” button opens “Setup assistant” with a task for this module already set.
How to pause or resume a module
- On the module card, open “Suspend module”.
- Click “Pause”.
Bookings, support requests and the team's access to history are kept, but AI employees stop performing new module actions. Saved data opens from the card with the “Open calendar” or “Open cases” button.
To bring the module back, click “Resume”. The section appears in the menu again, and employee access settings stay the same.
Good to know
- The Owner and Administrator can connect, set up and pause modules. The Operator and Viewer see the cards without management buttons.
- Module settings are shared across the whole business. What a specific AI employee does is chosen on its “Access” tab.
- Answers to questions about the business work without modules. At the bottom of the page this is marked by the “Available now” block: add information with the “Add information” button.
- After a module is connected, a “Team work” block with a short summary appears on the “Home” page.
- For more on working with these sections, see Calendar and booking setup and Customer support requests and notifications.
